Auburn City Lake is not the only site nearby, Lake Ogletree is a nearby lake, and get dripping wet paddling on Sougahatchee Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Pin Oaks Golf Club not far from Auburn City Lake, and if you need a place to stay Hilton Garden Inn Auburn/Opelika is a great       choice. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Bar-w RV Park while you're here at Auburn City Lake; a good close by hotel is Sleep Inn & Suites. Auburn City Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; through March this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. Camping is available at Chewacla State Park, and don't forget to take a delightful little visit to Nash Creek. So many exciting things to do here at Auburn City Lake, too                  good to be true. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Little Uchee, unsurprisingly you could also explore Cress Outing Club Lake since you're here; it's not far at all.
