So many exciting things to do at Anderson Pond, so little time. There are other locations here than Anderson Pond, for example Walters Pond. Persimmon Branch is a glorious spot to go to, and camping at Deer Run Park is always a nice experience. You'll meet a lot of folks from Troy here, and after a long day outdoors Courtyard Troy is a nice spot to spend a night or two. S and S Pond Dam is pretty and it's in the neighborhood       of Anderson Pond; dry warm beds await you at Troy-Days Inn Troy State University. Anderson Pond is a relatively wet place ordinarily with a large amount of rain; during March this area sees the most rain; October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Pike Country Public Lake is a tremendous lake near Anderson Pond, and camping is available at Camp Sharon Campground. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Anderson Pond, and during                  the night it cools down to the 60's.
