Summertime highs at Alligator Pond generally tend to be in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's while Alligator Pond overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 30's. Camping is available at Gantt Lake RV Park, and nearby       you hit upon the Conecuh Trail which is a good hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. You could also have a look at Open Pond if you're here at Alligator Pond; it's close by, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Andalusia Inn. Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Alligator Pond. There is a wonderful hiking trail close to Alligator Pond called the Lake Shore Trail, and if you need a place to stay Comfort                  Inn Andalusia is a magnificent choice.
