Do go to White Pond close to Acock Pond, it's a pretty lake, and after a long day outdoors Knights Inn Marianna is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Indigo Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and camping is available at Arrowhead Campsites. At Acock Pond all through the warm days       of summer highs are in the 90's while night lows are regularly in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Acock Pond.
