Acock Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Florida Caverns State Park is a good local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Marianna-Days Inn. Summertime highs at Acock Pond frequently tend to be in the 90's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Acock Pond.
