It is very arid here at Zero Lake mostly; September is when you get the most rain here, and April is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You clearly have to like Zero Lake. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Hilltop, and if you're here, you could go to Teddy Creek. This       lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Zero Lake, you could also take a look at wonderful Birch Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Zero Lake has to offer, you can camp at Riverside Camper Park. After a long day outdoors Anchorage Red Roof Inn is a good site to spend a night or two; the vistas at Katmai National Park & Preserve will blow your mind. Maruro Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit; Sourdough Lodge is a pleasant place                  to get some rest. For the duration of the warmest time of the year here at Zero Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 60's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Zero Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. Get soaked paddling on Willow Creek.
