Young Lake has to offer, you can camp at Spruce Meadow Recreational Vehicle Park, and get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Gold Creek. On a splendid day at Young Lake you can take a hike along the Moller Ski Trail;
if you're going to from Juneau, you won't be the only one.
A lot of precipitation falls at Young Lake; most of the rain falls throughout October, and the driest of the months is April. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the
rapids of Lemon Creek close to Young Lake, and there is a glorious hiking trail nearby called the Mount Roberts Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
