The Talkeetna Mountains scenery is always beautiful. At Wolf Lake you don’t see much precipitation; September is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is April. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Little Susitna River; ALASKAS       SELECT INN WASILLA is a great site to get some rest. If only every place had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great planet it would be. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Talkeetna Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. A wonderful location to camp here at Wolf Lake is Mountain View RV Park, and if you've had enough of Wolf Lake, Neklason Lake is close by. Camping is available at Denali River Cabins and RV Park; a good close by hotel                  is Agate Inn. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Wolf Lake highs are mostly in the 60's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 40's.
