After a long day outdoors Agate Inn is a good location to spend a night or two. Lakes? Sure, Elks Lake is in close proximity. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Talkeetna Mountains. Kleinsmith Lake is a great lake close to Wishbone Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Wolverine Creek offers some great whitewater. Wishbone Lake is a beautiful lake in the Talkeetna Mountains. Man, is there a load of exciting stuff       to do in close proximity to Wishbone Lake. Wishbone Lake is a magnificent spot to visit for more than one day, Moose Creek Campground is a magnificent spot to camp nearby, and Gold Miners Hotel is a good location to get some rest. Throughout the summertime, highs frequently are in the 60's at Wishbone Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's with                  temperatures at Wishbone Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Around Wishbone Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is September, and March on the other hand is the driest.
