Windfall Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is October, and April on the other hand is the driest. For the duration of the long summer days here at Windfall Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 60's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. During the winter this place       gets highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Windfall Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the West Glacier Trail, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Eagle River. Pearsons Pond Inn and Spa is a great place to get some rest; Windfall Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Auke Bay RV Park is a wonderful local campground. This lake is so wonderful.                  Not far from Windfall Lake, you'll stumble on Salt Lake which is a scenic lake; do take a hike on the Spaulding Trail. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Peterson Lake, and camping at Spruce Meadow Recreational Vehicle Park is always a wonderful experience. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. A day on the slopes of Eaglecrest is just what you need; Windfall Lake is right by the Montana Creek Trail.
