Slate Creek is a stream that you may encounter during your stay, and going for a hike on the West Glacier Trail is always a good adventure.

A brilliant location for whitewater paddling next to Windfall Lake is Eagle River, and nearby you discover the Spaulding Trail which is a good hiking trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all
the enjoyable stuff at Windfall Lake. Nearby Prairie Basin is a tremendous place to go if you're at Windfall Lake; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Montana Creek Trail. Windfall Lake usually gets a large amount of rainfall;
during the month of October you get the most rain around here, and April meanwhile is the driest month.
