Wiener Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is one of the great places here in the Talkeetna Mountains. Don't forget to take a brilliant little tour to Chikootna Creek, and drift down the rapids of Chickaloon River in a kayak. Summertime highs at Wiener Lake mostly tend to be in the 60's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's while the cold winter nights at Wiener Lake are in

This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Chickaloon River Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Wiener Lake gets very little rainfall; July is the month that gets the most rain while April is mostly the driest month. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Talkeetna Mountains. Hiking along the Chickaloon Knik Nelchina Trail is great fun, and paddling on Coal Creek is so much fun.
