At Wiener Lake during the warm months highs are in the 60's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's; overnight lows at Wiener Lake throughout the winter generally drop into the-10's. At Wiener Lake you don’t see much precipitation; all through July this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is April. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself       into a kayak and hit Coal Creek, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Chickaloon Knik Nelchina Trail. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Talkeetna Mountains rules! If you come at the right time of year, Chickaloon River offers some great whitewater. Lakes are brilliant; Long Lake is a lake that's close to Wiener Lake.
