Don't forget to stop at Herring Bay if you're here at Whitman Lake, and Upper Silvis Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. This lake is so wonderful. The vista of pretty Achilles Mountain near Whitman Lake is tremendous, and a lake close by is Upper Mahoney Lake. During your tour to Whitman       Lake you'll meet some folks from Ketchikan for sure. An exciting thing to take a look at near Whitman Lake is Whitman Lake Dam, and Inn at Creek St. and NY Hotel is a good location to get some rest. Whitman Lake commonly gets a lot of rainfall; October is when you get the most rain here; July is the month with the least moisture. Summertime at Whitman Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 60's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. High temperatures                  through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Whitman Lake tend to be in the 20's. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Whitman Lake.
