This is a great neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Carlanna Lake is a lake around here, and at Ward Lake you can spot Brush Hill. All the water falling down from the sky makes Ward Lake a wet spot; most of the rain falls through October while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the period of the summer here at Ward Lake, high temperatures usually get into the       60's while night lows are regularly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Ward Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Ward Lake there are plenty of people from Ketchikan, and dry warm beds await you at Ketchikan Super 8 Motel. Camping is available at Alava Bay Cabin - Tongass National Forest; Best Western Landing Hotel is a splendid location to get some rest. Signal Creek is close to Ward                  Lake and is always a bliss to pop by, and camping at Admiralty Cove - Tongass National Forest is always a magnificent experience.
