Waldron Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Visit Middle Fork Chester Creek since you're here at Waldron Lake. Lakes? Sure, University Lake is in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Really nice skiing awaits you at Hilltop, and Waldron Lake is a spot with many visitors from Anchorage. Ship Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby.

| | choice, and there are other places here than Waldron Lake, for example Tuomi Lake. Waldron Lake is pretty dry usually; throughout September this area sees the most rain; April on the other hand is the driest. Don't leave Waldron Lake without first going for a hike along the Bull Rock Trail, and if you came to camp Creekwood Inn - Motel, Cabin, RVPark is a good location to do that.

go whitewater paddling on Campbell Creek, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Parkwood Inn Extended Stay. There's so much to do here at Waldron Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Finger Lake Resort is a splendid place for that,
and Katmai National Park & Preserve is a very fine place to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Waldron Lake you can play some golf at Anchorage Golf Course, and you can never get enough of the fine skiing at
Alpenglow At Arctic Valley.
All through the summer months, highs frequently are in the 60's at Waldron Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Waldron Lake are in the 0's.
