Virginia Lake is a nice lake to visit. If you're here at Virginia Lake, you could stop by Glacier Creek. Lakes? Sure, Highbush Lake is in the neighborhood. All the water falling down from the sky makes Virginia Lake a wet location; the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain while June is generally the driest month. On a brilliant day at Virginia Lake you can take a hike along the Highbush Lake Trail; there are other places here than Virginia Lake,
| | | |
| | for example Long Lake. Going for a hike on the Thoms Lake Trail is always a brilliant adventure. At Virginia Lake during the summertime highs are in the 60's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Virginia Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail close to Virginia Lake called the Long Lake Trail; paddling on Stikine River is so much fun.
