Paddling on Canyon Creek is so much fun, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Grant Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Roycroft Lake Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out; get covered with water paddling on Sixmile River. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Upper Trail Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Primrose Landing Campground is a glorious       place for that, and if you need a spot to stay Alaska Hamptons is a wonderful choice. High temperatures at Upper Trail Lake through the summer are in the 60's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Upper Trail Lake. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Dry warm beds await you at Trail Lake Lodge, and Upper Trail Lake is right by the Carter Lake Trail. From                  a precipitation point of view Upper Trail Lake is a pretty normal place; October is the month that gets the most rain while May is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Don't miss out on a spree to Kenai Fjords National Park while you're here at Upper Trail Lake; if you came to camp A Creekside Trailer Park is a good place to do that.
