This lake is so wonderful. Upper Reservoir is not far at all from Kodiak. Do schedule some time to have a look at Kodiak Harbor in the neighborhood of Upper Reservoir if you have a chance; a lake close by is Lower Reservoir. Summertime at Upper Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 60's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 40's. Highs during the       wintertime are generally in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Upper Reservoir temperatures drop to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. A good location to stop by near Upper Reservoir is Cyane Rock; Best Western Kodiak Inn is a wonderful location to get some rest. Upper Reservoir is a wet location that gets a large amount of precipitation; January is when you get the most snow here while July is commonly the driest month. A day at                  Finny Beach in close proximity to Upper Reservoir is time well spent, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Kodiak is a perfect spot to spend a night or two. You could also stop by Lake Bettinger while you're here at Upper Reservoir; it's nearby, and naturally Pillar Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth a visit. All the outdoors fun things next to Upper Reservoir will keep you coming back again and again. A golf course near Upper Reservoir is Bear Valley Golf Course.
