Upper Reed Lake is one of the lakes here in the Talkeetna Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Reeds Creek for all you thrill seekers, and lakes are such calm locations, why not pop by Walby Lake. Around Upper Reed Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; September is when you get the most rain here while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The       warmest time of the year at Upper Reed Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 60's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Upper Reed Lake. Man, is there a lot of fun stuff to do in the Talkeetna Mountains.
