Sure, Paradise Lakes is in the neighborhood; get yourself into a kayak and hit Portage River. Upper Paradise Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain, and May is when it's the driest. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Upper Paradise Lake; Paradise Valley Trail is a nice local trail, and get wet paddling on Nellie Juan River.
