Near Upper Jean Lake you hit upon the Schooner Bend Trail which is a glorious hiking trail, and a magnificent nearby hotel is Lake View Bed and Breakfast. Not sufficient hours in       a day to enjoy this site. There is a perfect hiking trail next to Upper Jean Lake called the Fuller Lake Trail; why not camp at Sunrise Inn and RV Park since you're here at Upper Jean Lake. This lake is so wonderful. From Upper Jean Lake you obtain a great panorama of Hideout Hill, and if you need a place to stay Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge is a nice choice. For the period of the long summer days at Upper Jean Lake temperatures are commonly in the 60's.                  When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's.
