Not much rain falls here at University Lake; September is when you get the most rain here, and April meanwhile is the driest month. University Lake in fact is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Lakes are such serene sites, why not stop by Lazy Lake near University Lake; Anchorage Golf Course is a fine golf course nearby. The warmest time of the year at University Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 60's.       All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to University Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Goose Lake is a glorious lake right next door to University Lake, and a magnificent nearby hotel is Alaskan European B&B. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Alpenglow At Arctic Valley and strap some skis to your feet; as expected Middle Branch South Fork Chester                  Creek flows through this region. Golden Nugget Camper Park is a brilliant campground nearby; Katmai National Park & Preserve is a tremendous place close by. The snow is great at Hilltop, and there are plenty of people from Anchorage here. Get dripping wet paddling on Ship Creek, and University Lake is right by the Bull Rock Trail. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area near University Lake has to offer. Russian Jack Springs is a magnificent local attraction, and University Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, John's RV Park and Motel is a good place to camp nearby.
