If you come at the right time of year, Kenai River offers some fine whitewater; don't leave Twin Lakes without first going for a hike along the Russian Lakes Trail. There's so much to do here at Twin Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Sunrise Inn and RV Park is a perfect site for that; good hiking is available along the Schooner Bend Trail. Twin Lakes is generally a pretty dehydrated place;       the month with most of the rain is September, and the driest month is April. This lake is so wonderful. Lake View Bed and Breakfast is a splendid place to get some rest, and you can go for a hike on the Fuller Lake Trail. Through the summer, highs regularly are in the 60's at Twin Lakes; the night is slightly cooler of course, generally in the 50's.
