Do schedule some time to check out Nulagvik Lagoon in close proximity to Tugak Lagoon if you have a chance, and Tugak Lagoon is not the only place close by, Kavrorak Lagoon is a close by lake. At Tugak Lagoon you don’t see much rainfall; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest month is March. The Itiviak Portage is a perfect hiking trail close to Tugak Lagoon, and if you get bored of Tugak Lagoon you could also have a look at close by Pusaluk Lagoon.

| | The warmest time of the year at Tugak Lagoon comes with high temperatures in the 50's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Tugak Lagoon.
