Swan Lake is a splendid lake in close proximity to Trout Lake. That right there is a heap already, but it goes on; Trout Lake has it all. After a long day outdoors Lake View Bed and Breakfast is a tremendous site to spend a night or two; you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Schooner Bend Trail.       If you came for an overnight stay Kenai Riverside Campground and RV Park is a fine spot to camp; going for a hike along the Bean Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Trout Lake is a location that is relatively dried out generally; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is April. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Kenai River, and Montana Creek Campground is a glorious                  campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Falls Creek is a nice site to pop by, and if you need a place to stay Dimond Center Hotel is a magnificent choice. At Trout Lake all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's.
