For the duration of the warm months here at Trout Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 60's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Trout Lake. Not much precipitation falls here at Trout Lake; September is when you get the most rain here while April is commonly the driest month. Kenai River is a magnificent       whitewater spot near Trout Lake; getting to Falls Creek from Trout Lake is simple. Going for a hike on the Bean Creek Trail is always a great adventure; camping is available at Kenai Riverside Campground and RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. There are good sites to look at along the Russian Lakes Trail. Lakes? Sure, Juneau Lake is close by. There is a pleasant hiking trail close to Trout Lake called the Schooner Bend Trail. If only every site had                  this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great earth it would be. Swan Lake is a fine lake in close proximity to Trout Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Dimond Center Hotel.
