Camping is available at Homestead RV Campground, and a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is Little Susitna River. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is plentiful here in the Talkeetna Mountains. Swamps like Rabbit Slough in the neighborhood of Triangle Lake make for great locations to stop at, and Triangle Lake is not the only location close by, Long Lake is a close by lake. This lake       is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Archangel Creek, and camping at Mountain View RV Park is always a great experience. Gold Miners Hotel is a delightful place to get some rest, and a lake close by is Kepler Lake. Summertime highs at Triangle Lake usually tend to be in the 60's, and the nighttime is slightly colder of course, frequently in the 40's. Highs during the winter are commonly in                  the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Triangle Lake. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Talkeetna Mountains. Around Triangle Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; September is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is April.
