Through the summertime at Threemile Lake temperatures are generally in the 60's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 0's while Threemile Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the-20's. All year is a great time in the Wrangell Mountains if you adore the outdoors. Get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of McCarthy Creek.       There's so much to do here at Threemile Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Glacier View Campground is a tremendous spot for that. Threemile Lake is usually a pretty dry spot; July is the wettest month with most rain, and April is the month with the least moisture. There's whitewater on Kennicott River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and if you need a location to stay McCarthy Lodge & The Ma Johnsons Hotel is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful.
