Teakwood Lake is a good location of normal rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. At Teakwood Lake       you always meet someone from Anchorage, and camping is available at Riverside Camper Park. That right there is heaps already, but it continues; Teakwood Lake has it all. Sourdough Lodge is a pleasant site to get some rest, and Hilltop is a fine local ski area. Stevens Lake is a wonderful lake next to Teakwood Lake; if you need a site to stay Ramada Limited Anchorage is a good choice. Summertime at Teakwood Lake arrives with high temperatures in the                  60's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Teakwood Lake are in the 0's.
