For the duration of the warm months, highs typically are in the 60's at Teakwood Lake. Summer night lows drop down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Teakwood Lake plunge into the 0's. If you come at the right time of year, Willow Creek offers some       splendid whitewater; a tremendous nearby hotel is Ramada Limited Anchorage. Hit the slopes at Hilltop in the vicinity; Teakwood Lake is not the only place nearby, Zero Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Alpenglow At Arctic Valley has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff, and camping at Alaskan Trails Rv and Camper Park is always a great experience. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Teakwood                  Lake. If you came to camp Riverside Camper Park is a wonderful place to do that, and stopping by Denali National Park & Preserve is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. The amount of precipitation that falls at Teakwood Lake is close to the national average; most of the rain falls through August; the driest month of the year is January.
