Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not stop at Tulilik Lake right next door to Tasaychek Lagoon; since you're here you can take a hike along the Itiptigvik. Not much precipitation falls here at Tasaychek Lagoon; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. At Tasaychek Lagoon all through the days of summer highs are in the 50's, and the overnight is rather cooler of course,

Kotlik Lagoon is a good lake in the neighborhood of Tasaychek Lagoon, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Atiligorak Inlet is right nearby. | |
