You'll need more than a day to explore everything Summit Lake has to offer, you can camp at Liarsville Campground; a pleasant spot to pop by nearby is White Pass. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Summit Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Skagway RV Park is a pleasant location for that, and do take a hike on the Chilkoot Trail. Summit Lake ordinarily gets a large amount of precipitation; most       of the rain falls through October while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime highs at Summit Lake frequently tend to be in the 60's with overnight lows in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's; night lows in the 10's for Summit Lake.
