Beautiful Summit Lake has much to offer visitors. There are some great whitewater spots on Sixmile River. Summit Lake is right by the Grant Lake Trail; a brilliant close by hotel is Trail Lake Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. The Devils Pass Trail offers hiking at its best; a brilliant site to camp here at Summit Lake is Henry's One Stop. in the 10's. Camping at Coeur D'Alene Campground is always a great experience, and let's not forget Butcher Creek which is a stream that you may come across while here. The yearly rainfall here at Summit Lake is about average; through the month of October you get the most rain around here; the driest month is May.
