are plenty of folks from Anchorage here at Stevens Lake. There's so much to do here at Stevens Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Willow Island Resort is a glorious location for that. A glorious nearby hotel is Sourdough
Lodge, and the skiing at Alpenglow At Arctic Valley is great. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great earth it would be. After a long day outdoors Red Roof Inn Anchorage is a great place to spend a night or two, and a journey to Denali National Park & Preserve is worthwhile.

 | 17 miles away Absolutely perfect!! We were blessed with good weather on our Alaska tour! The folks at Golden Nugget were so helpful. They knew the area and what was a must see for us. The grounds were well kept and the showers CLEAN!!!...Very nice, clean and quiet RV Park!! Lots of room to stroll around and relax.
Staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. We have been going there for the past 3 years - it is the largest and best park in Anchorage!! Enjoyed their evening BBQs and entertainment!!
