A picturesque lake like Tuomi Lake in close proximity to Spring Lake is a splendid place to explore; if you need a place to stay Alaskan European B&B is a splendid choice. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Campbell Creek, and if you want to play some golf, you're in       luck because Anchorage Golf Course is nearby. Man, is there lots of fun things to do near Spring Lake. It is very dry here at Spring Lake frequently; September is when you get the most rain here while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The snow is perfect at Hilltop, and some of the water close by flows, like Sixmile Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at John's RV Park and Motel since you're here at Spring Lake, and                  why not stop by Gregory Lake Dam if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Ship Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Red Roof Inn Anchorage. Sixmile Lake is a pleasant lake in the neighborhood of Spring Lake, and Katmai National Park & Preserve is one of the destinations that are great to visit nearby. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Head up to Alpenglow At Arctic Valley and strap some skis to your feet, and hiking along the Bull Rock Trail is wonderful fun. Summertime at Spring Lake comes with high temperatures in the 60's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
