This lake is so wonderful. Tuomi Lake is a good lake right next door to Spring Lake, and if you're a golfer then a good close by course is Anchorage Golf Course. All the outdoors cool stuff near Spring Lake will keep you coming back over and over. At Spring Lake you always meet someone from Anchorage, and needless to       say, all our national parks are magnificent spots to explore and Katmai National Park & Preserve is no exception. There is a great hiking trail near Spring Lake called the Bull Rock Trail; dry warm beds await you at SpringHill Suites Anchorage University Lake. Summertime highs at Spring Lake commonly tend to be in the 60's with overnight lows in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Spring Lake.                  What would winter be without some skiing at Hilltop, and get covered with water paddling on Ship Creek. Having a great time at Spring Lake is painless. Why not camp at John's RV Park and Motel while you're here at Spring Lake, and there's some flowing water nearby, Sixmile Creek is a stream you can have a look at during your stay. Gregory Lake Dam is a place that is near Spring Lake, and the slopes of Alpenglow At Arctic Valley are so inviting nobody can resist. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent place to camp here at Spring Lake is Golden Nugget Camper Park, and paddling on Campbell Creek is so much fun.
