    Slipper Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is one of the great places here in the Talkeetna Mountains. Summertime highs at Slipper Lake frequently tend to be in the 60's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are ordinarily in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Slipper Lake fall into the 0's. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the  
   Talkeetna Mountains. Pinnacle Mountain Recreation is a great local campground, and there's whitewater on Wolverine Creek for all you adrenaline people.
This lake is so wonderful. Really great skiing awaits you at Alyeska; it's a great idea to have a look at Eska Creek. Slipper Lake is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Kroa Kamping Resorts-alaska is a wonderful place to camp nearby. At Slipper Lake you don’t see much rainfall; September is
 
               the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is March.
