This place, Sixmile Lake, it just has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. If you need a spot to stay Red Roof Inn Anchorage is a good choice, and hey, Sixmile Creek is a fine local stream. Sixmile Lake is ordinarily a quite dried up place; throughout September this area sees the most rain, and April on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Bull Rock Trail will let you absorb the       natural beauty of this neighborhood; Sixmile Lake is not far at all from Anchorage. Summertime at Sixmile Lake comes with high temperatures in the 60's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Sixmile Lake are in the 0's. Everybody close by loves skiing at Alpenglow At Arctic Valley, and Alaskan European B&B is a good location to get some rest. But wait, there's                  more to do in close proximity to Sixmile Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Anchorage Golf Course is a golf course in the neighborhood of Sixmile Lake; a lake nearby is Fish Lake. If you get bored of Sixmile Lake, you could also have a look at nearby Triangle Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Golden Nugget Camper Park is a glorious spot to camp. John's RV Park and Motel is a splendid local campground, and a trip to Katmai National Park & Preserve is worthwhile. There's always Gregory Lake Dam to stop by close to Sixmile Lake, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Ship Creek. Gotta ski!
