Float down the rapids of Campbell Creek in a kayak, and the vistas at Katmai National Park & Preserve will blow your mind. If you need a site to stay Country Rose Manor B&B is a great choice, and skiing at Alpenglow At Arctic Valley is one of those things you just should do. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Ship Creek offers some good whitewater, and why not take a refreshing hike along       the Bull Rock Trail. High temperatures at Sixmile Lake through the days of summer are in the 60's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Sixmile Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Dry warm beds await you at Ramada Limited Anchorage, and you're perhaps addicted to lakes, Lake Beebe is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight                  stay John's RV Park and Motel is a great place to camp, and playing golf is lots of fun at Anchorage Golf Course. Sixmile Lake gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout September, and the driest of the months is April. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are truly plentiful here at Sixmile Lake. Gregory Lake Dam is not far at all from Sixmile Lake. Lakes are magnificent; Fish Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Sixmile Lake. Really good skiing awaits you at Hilltop, and at Sixmile Lake you always meet someone from Anchorage.
