During the warm days of summer at Seventeenmile Lake highs are mostly in the 60's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Seventeenmile Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Gold Miners Hotel; on a wonderful day you obtain a great view of Wishbone       Hill from Seventeenmile Lake. Seventeenmile Lake gets very little rainfall; all through September this area sees the most rain while March is generally the driest month. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Talkeetna Mountains. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing things the area next to Seventeenmile Lake has to offer. Bestview Mobile Home Village is a nice local campground; for you golfers we                  recommend close by Palmer Golf Course. Lakes? Sure, Wolverine Lake is in the neighborhood, and if you came for an overnight stay Kroa Kamping Resorts-alaska is a perfect place to camp. If you need a spot to stay Agate Inn is a fine choice, and get your heart pumping on the brilliant whitewater of Moose Creek. And if that's not enough there's heaps more amusing things to do in the Talkeetna Mountains.
