You don’t have to go far from Scout Lake to see the water at South Fawn Lake Dam, and you acquire a fine sight of Deer Mountains from here. This lake is so wonderful. Do explore Fawn Lake near Scout Lake, it's a beautiful lake; Westcoast Cape Fox Lodge is a magnificent place to get some rest. The high level of rain makes Scout Lake a quite wet site; October       is the month that gets the most rain while July is regularly the driest month. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Scout Lake is excellent! There's some flowing water close by, Ketchikan Creek is a stream you can visit while you're here; if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend Black Sand Beach. Scout Lake is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Alava Bay Cabin - Tongass National Forest is a nice location to camp nearby; while                  you're here you ought to stop by Bald Headed Cove. Tongass/Ketchikan National Forest is a good forest area near Scout Lake, and during your journey here you'll meet some people from Ketchikan for sure. Summer at Scout Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 60's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
