Scott Lake is a reasonably wet place mostly with a great deal of rain; of all the months in a year       September is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Chugach Mountains. You could also have a look at Scott Lake while you're here at Scott Lake; it's close by, and hiking along the Lake Elsner Trail is pleasant fun. This lake is so wonderful.
