If you are traveling by, why not stop by Salt Lake. So much cool stuff right next door to Salt Lake, just fantastic. Salt Lake is right by the Bear Creek Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Eaglecrest. The Spaulding Trail offers hiking at its best, and a cool spot to check out is The Breadline. Eagle River is a splendid whitewater spot right next door to Salt Lake, and a delightful location to camp here at Salt Lake is Auke Bay RV Park.

Summertime highs at Salt Lake frequently tend to be in the 60's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful close by hotel is Pearsons Pond Inn and Spa, and Amalga Harbor is a lovely place, without doubt worth
checking out. After a long day outdoors Best Western Grandma's Feather Bed is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Spruce Meadow Recreational Vehicle Park.
Salt Lake is a pretty wet place ordinarily
with a good deal of rainfall; October is when you get the most rain here while April is frequently the driest month.
