Salt Lagoon is a nice lake to visit. Bahovec Peak is clearly visible from Salt Lagoon; do schedule some time to pop by Deer Point if you have a chance. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Sitka Super 8 Motel is a perfect choice. Go for a hike on the Silver Bay Trail, and don't leave Salt Lagoon without first paying a visit to Warm Springs.
