Louie Nelson Homestead Dam has great water scenery and it's close to Rustabach Lake, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Nahku Portage. The high level of rainfall makes Rustabach Lake a quite wet site; October is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is June. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Halsingland Hotel is a good place to spend a night or two, and on a wonderful       day you can take a hike along the Mount Riley Trail. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Rustabach Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 60's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Rustabach Lake. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do near Rustabach Lake.
