Going for a hike on the Eyak Trail is always a delightful adventure; nearby you find the Sheridan Mountain Trail which is a nice hiking trail. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Chugach Mountains. Tsina River is a perfect whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Rude Lake, and if you get bored of Rude Lake you could also have a look at close by Lake Elsner. This lake is so wonderful. There       is a pleasant hiking trail in the neighborhood of Rude Lake called the Lake Elsner Trail, and Island Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. You can run the rapids of Power Creek next to Rude Lake; if you have time, Wrangell - St Elias National Park & Preserve is a national park worth going to. All through the summertime at Rude Lake temperatures are usually in the 60's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. High temperatures all through the                  wintertime are normally in the 30's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Rude Lake fall into the 10's. Yeah, come here to Rude Lake for a nice time.
