It is very arid here at Ruby Lake generally; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is March. While you're here at Ruby Lake, you could also visit striking Thirtymile Lake, and here at Ruby Lake you can catch a glimpse of Red Mountain. Skiing at Alyeska is one of those things you just should do, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Chickaloon Trail. This lake is so wonderful.

in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are mostly in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Ruby Lake.

Needless to say we're pretty ok with snow up here in Alaska, there's so much snow here you can't believe it. The skiing is perfect perfect! I cannot get enough of this mountain ever!
