Through the long summer days at Ravine Lake highs are typically in the 60's with night lows in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Ravine Lake temperatures dip to the 0's. Ravine Lake is mostly a relatively dried up place; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is March. There's nice hiking       along the Chickaloon Knik Nelchina Trail. This location, the Talkeetna Mountains, has so much outdoors cool stuff. Sawmill Creek is a great location to visit, and a nice site for whitewater paddling is Coal Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Ravine Lake; Chickaloon River Trail is a great local trail, and do go to Rush Lake, it's a beautiful lake. You'll locate a delightful lake called Bonnie Lake near Ravine Lake, and                  Chickaloon River is a brilliant whitewater spot close by.
