It's always fun to stop by Rapids Lake. All through the warm days of summer at Rapids Lake temperatures are usually in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. You can run the rapids of Delta River in the neighborhood of Rapids Lake; Boulder Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting. Wrangell - St Elias National Park & Preserve is a very perfect place to stop at near Rapids Lake; a short journey to Black Rapids is always worthwhile.
