This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Delta River; lakes are such peaceful sites, why not go to Thompson Lake. Summertime highs at Quartz Lake mostly tend to be in the 60's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 0's; overnight lows in the-20's       for Quartz Lake. It is very waterless here at Quartz Lake usually; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is March. A pleasant spree to Shaw Creek Flats is a nice way to spend an afternoon.
