This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Halsingland Hotel is a good location to spend a night or two; don't leave Pump House Lake without first going for a hike along the Skyline Trail. Pump House Lake is in close proximity to White Pass which is absolutely worth a visit, and Pump House Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Liarsville Campground is a magnificent local campground. There are       good locations to explore along the Chilkoot Trail, and a wonderful place to camp here at Pump House Lake is Skagway RV Park. Pump House Lake is a pretty wet place typically with a good deal of rainfall; through the month of October you get the most rain around here while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Pump House Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 60's with night lows in the 50's.
