This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Lower Russian Lake, and if you need a place to stay Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge is a nice choice. Pothole Lake is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Kenai Riverside Campground and RV Park is a brilliant place to camp       nearby, and there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Schooner Bend Trail. Pothole Lake is regularly a rather dried up place; the month with most of the rain is September while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Any time is a magnificent time at Pothole Lake if you adore the outdoors. Kenai River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Russian Lakes Trail. At Pothole Lake throughout                  the warmest time of the year highs are in the 60's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's.
