Pipeline Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Chugach Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Sheridan Mountain Trail; if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Glacier River. Through the warmest time of the year here at Pipeline Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 60's, and the night is fairly colder of course, frequently in

| | the 40's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Pipeline Lake. Pipeline Lake typically gets a large amount of precipitation; September is the wettest month with most rain while July is mostly the driest month.
