Pinta Lake is a wet site that gets a good deal of rain; October is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is June. Don't leave Pinta Lake without first going for a hike along the Redoubt Lake Trail. High temperatures at Pinta Lake through the summer       months are in the 60's with overnight lows in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are regularly in the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Pinta Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. From Pinta Lake you obtain a fine panorama of Lucky Chance Mountain, and you can go for a hike on the Silver Bay Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
