The beauty of Pickerel Lake attracts many people from all around. Summertime highs at Pickerel Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the-10's while the cold winter nights at Pickerel Lake are in the-30's. Pickerel Lake is pretty dried up regularly; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is March. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Nabesna River.
